Some lovely stamps.
I especially like this seal stamp but I suppose that is because I associate seals with old letters. Sadly, the couple of times I have tried using a seal recently they have been smashed to smithereens by the postal machinery.
Am curious about the stamp up right - with these red sticks (?). Do you know what does this one mean?
ReplyDeleteThey stumped me for a while. On the right hand side of the stamp it says 'Lunar New Year'. I am assuming therefore that the red sticks are Chinese fire crackers of the sort they set off during Chinese New Year celebrations. That's my guess.
