Grube Samson - a former silver mine - was in operation from 1521 - 1910 and is one of the most important mountain mines in Germany. The secret of EJ’s cards lies not so much on the front but on the back where he affixes a variety of stamps. In this case we have stamps from Monaco, Croatia and the USA.
