This card came within
a letter from the lovely JarieLyn and the letter was enclosed in one of her
delightful hand-crafted envelopes…
The stamps were super
and the kind postal services had failed to obliterate them with franks. In fact, the envelope hadn’t been franked at
all! On the right is the 29c Cent Convention of American Numismatic Association
1991.
In 1992, the USPS
issued a block of 4 stamps commemorating the First Voyage of Christopher
Columbus. The stamps depict 4 scenes and are entitled: "Seeking Queen
Isabella's Support," "Crossing The Atlantic," "Approaching
Land," and "Coming Ashore."
I'm glad you liked the envelope and the stamps as well as the letter and postcard. :)
