Card no 421 –  JarieLyn
A card, a letter, an envelope, a lovely surprise
Country Card Sent From: USA
Place that Card Sender Lives:  Las Vegas
Date Received: 26th February 2013
Distance Travelled:  5,044 miles
Time Taken: ? days

This card came within a letter from the lovely JarieLyn and the letter was enclosed in one of her delightful hand-crafted envelopes…

The stamps were super and the kind postal services had failed to obliterate them with franks.  In fact, the envelope hadn’t been franked at all! On the right is the 29c Cent Convention of American Numismatic Association 1991.

In 1992, the USPS issued a block of 4 stamps commemorating the First Voyage of Christopher Columbus. The stamps depict 4 scenes and are entitled: "Seeking Queen Isabella's Support," "Crossing The Atlantic," "Approaching Land," and "Coming Ashore."

Welcome. I love it when visitors comment - even if it's only to say "Hi, I've been here!"
