A Finnish postwoman

 Card no 330 – Pirjo

This wonderful home-made card from Finland shows Pirjo’s postwoman in her uniform. I have had a couple of pictures of postmen and women from times gone by but this is the first I've had in a modern uniform and the first from Finland.

The stamp shows Corydalis solida (Bird in the Bush, Fumewort, Spring Fumewort), a species of flowering plant in the family Papaveracae.
