Cards and stamps

1475 - a lovely miniature sheet of stamps from Katya in Ukraine.  And this was the card -

1477 - Storz Fountain, Memorial Building, Joslyn Art Museum, USA.  This is one of Omaha's many attractions and a favourite with Danielle.

1478 - And Colom's Market in Valencia is a favourite with Eva.

1479 - A Czech map from Pavel.  It is one of six cards that a group of Czech Postcrossers printed at their own expense.

I love this stamp -

1484 - This is from a different Katya, one from Russia -

This painting is by Vasiliy Tropinin (1780-1857), a wonderful Russian artist that I hadn't come across before.  Thanks Katya, not just for the card but for introducing me to Tropinin.

1485 - Arianne put one or two stamps on her envelope and the dreaded franking machine didn't obliterate them.

1485 - A postcrossing stamp, this on from Victoria in Belarus -
1487 - I love Elliot Erwitt's photography.  This one of Marilyn Monroe was from Danielle.

1488 - Miseme from Spain sent me Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn.  Well, a photo of them!

And finally, for this post, a number of Ukrainian stamps from a set that I think is very attractive.

Welcome. I love it when visitors comment - even if it's only to say "Hi, I've been here!"
